The Sive Scientific Committee
The SIVE Scientific Committee that will evaluate the papers in the 2013 selection is composed so as to represent as broadly and comprehensively as possible the entire universe of Italian and foreign wine research centers. It is chaired by Prof. Emilio Celotti, President of SIVE.

All researchers in the public sector – Italian and foreign – who apply by December 20, 2012 by sending an e-mail to the CS Chairman (emilio.celotti@uniud.it) or the SIVE Secretariat (sive@vinidea.it) specifying the institution they belong to and the position held Operation The evaluation process of the SIVE Scientific Committee will take place entirely via the Internet, in January 2013 for selection phase and in May-June 2013 for the evaluation phase.
Each member of the SIVE CS may evaluate all the papers nominated for the two SIVE Prizes, or be limited to those for only one Prize or to those that pertain to the scientific disciplines of his or her expertise, as long as he or she evaluates at least 50% of the papers in the selection phase and at least 30% of the papers in the evaluation phase.
Members of the SIVE CS may nominate for the Awards one or more research papers of their own or of the group to which they belong, but they are asked to refrain from evaluating them, which in any case would not be taken into account in the preparation of the rankings.
Membership in the SIVE CS does not include compensation or reimbursement; however, its members will be entitled to a free attendance fee at Enoforum 2013 and will have free access to recordings of all conference proceedings, including presentations not related to the SIVE Awards.
