As part of the 12th edition of the ENOFORUM wine sector scientific and technical congress to be held in Vicenza, Italy, May 21-23, 2019, a session on May 23 will be dedicated to presenting the progress and first results of the Soil4Wine LIFE+ project.

The first part of the talk will focus on agronomic aspects: Prof. Stefano Poni from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Piacenza will share the project’s experience regarding different soil management and protection techniques in vineyards. Next, Dr. Sara Elisabetta Legler (Horta srl) will present an innovative and interactive tool for soil management in viticulture developed during the project.

The following report by Dr. Alessandro Bosso of ERVET (Emilia-Romagna Valorizzazione Economica Territorio SpA) “Wine for the soil: an example of green economy” will be dedicated to the economic and social aspects of the project.
