Enoforum Spain announces strategic alliance with Gienol, Oenoviti International, and SECH
The fifth edition of Enoforum Spain will feature the direct participation of three of the most important scientific organizations in the international wine and viticulture scene: GIENOL (Grupos de Investigación Enológica), Oenoviti International y el Grupo de Viticultura de la SECH (Sociedad Española de Ciencias Hortícolas). The collaboration with these institutions is the central focus of Enoforum 2026 and will enable the presentation in Spain of recent high-level scientific results with immediate application in vineyards and wineries, reinforcing Enoforum’s role as a bridge between research, technology, and industry. These alliances strengthen the event’s position as the unmissable meeting place where the latest advances in international oenology and viticulture converge, and where professionals in the sector can directly and effectively access knowledge generated in leading universities and public centers.
Enoforum Spain will hold its fifth edition on May 20 and 21, 2026, at the Zaragoza Trade Fair, following on from a format that in 2024 brought together more than 800 participants, 29 partner companies, 60 presentations, and 40 speakers from public research centers around the world. The meeting keeps its main mission: to create real synergies between researchers, winemakers, agronomists, and companies, becoming the only European event that can merge science, technology, and business development.
As in previous editions, the auditorium will welcome renowned national and international keynote speakers, with simultaneous English-Spanish translation. The work of the R&D departments of innovative companies in the sector will also be presented.
The tasting room will offer the opportunity to sample experimental wines made using innovative technologies, while the exhibition area will provide direct contact with participating companies and a gallery of scientific posters.
The 2026 edition will include a new space dedicated entirely to viticulture, with single-topic sessions on highly topical issues, including: soil management, pathogen control in organic viticulture, water stress, water and energy saving in wineries, automation, and sensor technology applied to vineyards.
An unmissable event that you can already mark in your calendar!
