From May 15 to 16, 2024, Zaragoza Trade Fair Congress Center

Enoforum, one of the most important European events in the wine sector, returns to Zaragoza from May 15 to 16, 2024. Enoforum will be the epicenter of the latest scientific and technological innovations, bringing together the main players in the sector. Research centers, suppliers with R&D activities, technicians and wine producers will meet again at the Zaragoza fair in order to dialogue, discuss and share the most outstanding knowledge and innovations of the last two years at both national and international level.

ENOFORUM has transcended borders since its beginnings more than 20 years ago in Italy, being successfully held also in Portugal, Spain, the United States and more recently in Chile, all of them events that have enjoyed great participation by the technicians of the sector, which confirms the interest in this innovative formula.

In 2024 Enoforum returns to celebrate its fourth Spanish edition and the 22nd edition if we include the editions held in digital environment. After the first Spanish event in 2018, which was attended by more than 500 professionals, in 2020 it was decided to celebrate in digital format, given the impossibility of organizing face-to-face events, reaching a very high level of participation, more than 2,000 registered. In 2022, more than 550 professionals were present again and in 2024 this scientific technical congress, a benchmark in the sector, returned to Spain in its 100% face-to-face format.

With this enormous wealth of experience, the objective is to further improve the proposal of this new edition, organized by Vinidea in collaboration with Laboratorios Excell Ibérica, supported by the main Spanish winemaking associations and key wine organizations, and sponsored by the International Organisation of Vine and Wine.

A great novelty this year is the direct participation of the Gienol group in the construction of the program dedicated to public research, which will include a selection of the most outstanding research work carried out by Spanish scientists, chosen on the basis of their direct applicability to the world of production. Always in collaboration with Gienol, a round table will be held with the participation of key figures from the world of production and research to analyze the challenges facing the sector, as well as the most current strategies that can be implemented to address them.

The Enoforum program will be divided into:

• Keynote lectures given by renowned researchers
• Scientific sessions that will provide a detailed overview of public research at national and international level.
• National and European research projects
• Technical sessions where the results of the R&D activities of leading companies will be presented.
• A selection of the best posters presented at the Gienol congress, as well as other papers on new technologies and knowledge.
• Tasting sessions to understand sensory effects of innovations
• Demonstration sessions to learn how innovations are used in practice
• an exhibition area to explore and exchange ideas on technological advances.
