Round table: Factors in the field that affect wine quality
An essential indicator to measure the economic value of grapes for winemaking is their integrity. A clean, healthy and undamaged grape is always more highly valued by wineries and cooperatives because it allows the production of higher quality wines. A grape with rottenness or not harvested at its optimum moment loses its value. In this round table we will learn about the analysis of experts on the factors that affect the quality of wine and its value in the market.
These are factors that can be avoided with a correct strategy of sustainable pest control in the field. Issues such as the loss of value of damaged grapes, the grape moth as the main cause of high levels of gluconic acid, sexual confusion as an effective sustainable technique to achieve healthy grapes to produce better quality wines will be addressed. A round table that starts from a clear premise: sustainability begins in the field.
